A really unique experience. We believe that this is the best restaurant currently in New York! Every time chef Ramirez amazes us with his unique inspirations, cooking perfection, and beautiful plating of his dishes. Pictures are not allowed in this intimate space in Brooklyn. Chef Ramirez is working tirelessly every day to deliver consistency and perfection. Very hospitable and engaging creates multiple bite-sized courses with explosive tastes. His kitchen works like a clock. Everybody works with amazing coordination to deliver a lively, fast-paced, and impeccable service! There are definitely some Japanese influences in the ingredients used. However, the flavors created are an identity of the genius of Cesar Ramirez, and cannot be found anywhere else. His philosophy is to use the freshest and highest quality ingredients available, regardless of cost. Using that as a substrate he creates his magic!

A really unique restaurant at this level! Blue Hill at Stone Barns is the quintessential farm to table restaurant, located in an idyllic setting in the Hudson valley, about 45 minutes outside of New York City. All the ingredients come from the farm, based on what is the freshest or best for the season. Everything is recycled. Even the bones of dead animals are transformed into coal and then used for cooking. Most dishes are vegetable based, with amazing preparations and theatrical presentations. One of the highlights of our dinner was the brioche and ricotta dish that was served outside the restaurant in a table set under a shed in the farm. After the course is served, the staff gives you some private time in this space. The moments you spend there in the quiet night, listening only to the sounds of the animals, give you a feeling of intimacy with the farm, and the land that has gracefully provided all the components of your meal. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly! They get out of their way so that the guests have an unforgettable experience. The true essence of hospitality!
