11 Madison Park keeps evolving, while remaining a spectacular restaurant! Chef Humm has almost completely transformed the menu of this restaurant since our last visit. The experience is still dedicated to local New York flavors and traditions! Like before, the meal starts and finishes with black and white cookies, a hallmark of New York! An interesting component of the meal is that the guest now is handed a ticket with 4 ingredients, from which she/he is asked to choose one. This choice gives your menu a unique twist! With this addition we see chef Humm revisiting his initial idea of a menu, from when he first opened the restaurant. Guests had to choose the ingredients without knowing how those would be cooked... The current version is adapted to the needs of a fixed tasting menu, but at the same time personalizes the experience! We really enjoyed the reference to Katz's deli, bringing memories of quintessential New York tastes... The Baked Alaska finishes your meal in flames, while it strongly references Delmonico's restaurant (where the term was coined) another New York tradition! Service is impeccable. The team of staff lead by Paul Downie create a playful and welcoming atmosphere, unique in the city!
